General League Rules & Guidelines

I wasn't planning on doing that, but I'll show you what place your in on the player's page in the recruiting section. I'm going to add in more once they get committed to places. I don't think anyone at this stage will be recruiting anyone less that a 100 ranked recruit.

I'll have a more specific set of rules up in the morning to help you out Joe and anyone else who is confused.

You can only recruit 5 players per day and we'll see how that goes. Feel free to give them as many pitches as you want.

where did you get the certain recruits and their skills at?

I actually took the recruits and thier skills off of a video game and loaded their abilities on the simmer and the forum. I just thought it was the easiest and best way to do it.

When is 9 o'clock your time?

Does the first day of recruiting end at 9 o'clock tomorrow night? Can bids be sent in until then?

Also, how do you want the bids sent in? As a bulleted list with the key points of the proposal to the recruit, or as a short paragraph, or...

I decided to kick off the recruiting a little early. The first deadline is 9 o'clock tomorrow. I don't really care how you word your pitches. It really dosen't matter.

I'm only going to accept e-mail since my inbox (PMs) can only take so much and I want to keep the bids just for records. Also, before you act to hastily, if you are the only person to recruit a player on day 1, the recruit will sign with you.

One more question sorry. Lets say I bid on my 5 players. Can I send another "recruiting email" to a player that same day?

Haha, I meant too quickly, I just wanted to make sure you guys knew that beforehand. Nope, you get one (1) e-mail to five (5) recruits daily.

Are players going to have to play the position that they're listed at or can you, for example, draft a shooting guard to play point?

No, the position is just based on size...a shooting guard can play point, PF play Center, etc.

No biggie, it's only a little but of a pain, but I know it's the first day so it isn't that big of a deal

Does this go for every day or just day 1?

Let's put it this way, by day 5 if I'm getting 5 in a day, I'll probably be pretty mad.
