Blind Bubble Game

While we wait for this league to slowly fill up, I thought we'd play a little game where I'll give you two teams and you tell me which one you would put in the tournament. Please, don't ruin this thing by looking up who the two teams are:

Team 1:
Record: 22-6 (15-1)
RPI: 36
Strength of Schedule: 115
Best Win: Northeastern (RPI: 78)
Worst Loss: at Niagara (RPI: 152)

Team 2:
Record: 17-11 (7-8 )
RPI: 41
Strength of Schedule: 2
Best Win: West Virginia (RPI: 5)
Worst Loss: at Michigan (RPI: 151)

Gotta go with team 2. There best win is against a far better team and the strength of schedule speaks for itself. Team 2 for sure!

I'd have to go with the second team as well. They obviously must play in a more difficult conference and when Northeastern is your best win, I don't think you deserve a spot in the NIT, much less the NCAA.

I don't now, I mean in my opinion it's pretty close. The main thing about team 1 is that they have won games that the should and a 17-11 record is not too good.

I'll offer up some analysis, but since I know what both of the teams are I'm not going to dive to deeply into it.

I personally think neither of these teams will make it. Team 1 can still play their way in, as they are obviously part of a better conference. Team 2 probably has to win their conference tournament since they don't really have any great wins on their resume.
